AFCEA HAMPTON ROADS CHAPTER
Welcome to Hampton Roads! Our area is home to the largest naval installation in the world, Naval Base Norfolk, as well as U.S. Joint Forces Command, Allied Command Transformation Headquarters, Naval Air Station Oceana, Joint Expeditionary Base. Little Creek - Fort Story, Dam Neck Annex Oceana Naval Air Station ,USCG Fifth Coast Guard District and Hampton Roads Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Hampton Roads is home to seven major DOD Headquarters Commands and major operating bases supporting more than 100,000 active duty Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard personnel. This diverse military community offers unique opportunities for developing joint and combined communications doctrine and electronic applications, making Hampton Roads an important partner in our nation's defense.

The AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter meets monthly to offer an opportunity for networking and an exchange of information and ideas in an open, ethical environment that fosters close cooperation and understanding between the military, civil service, and industry. 1st Annual SB Outreach Symposium
The AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter Small Business committee will be hosting our 1st Annual Small Business Outreach Symposium titled "Enhancing Your Small Business&qout; on August 19th, 2010 from 0830 – 1200 at the Virginia Beach Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. This is a continued effort to bring insightful information to our Small Business community.
