AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter September 2002 Chapter News On September 6th, Vice Admiral Richard Mayo, Commander, Navy Network Warfare Command, led the field of 136 golfers playing in the Hampton Roads Chapter's 2002 Charity Golf Classic. Golfers from 28 Hampton Roads firms joined with active duty Chapter members to enjoy an afternoon that raised $11, 000 for the Chapter's Scholarship Fund. Golf Committee Chairman Tony Orlando, Program Manager with Raytheon Technical Services in Virginia Beach, thanked corporate sponsors for their generous support. "Silver Sponsors" contributing $1000 were BAE Systems, GTSI, ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation, UNISYS, General Dynamics, AMSEC, and Booze-Allen Hamilton. "Bronze Sponsors" contributing $500 were CACI, Tradesman International, Pinnacle Network Systems, Oracle, and Cox Communications.

At the Chapter's September 18 luncheon meeting, Ms. Annette Ratzenberger, Deputy Director for Experimentation Engineering, U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Futures Lab described the challenges of integrating a "federation" of 42 simulation models with live field exercises to support Millennium Challenge 02.
